Chad and  Keanu Announce To Confirm John Wick: Chapter 5

The John Wick franchise has announced the upcoming Chapter 5 of the series. Director Chad Stahelski and Keanu Reeves have confirmed and provided positive signs for the upcoming film. The director has confirmed John Wick: Chapter 5. The John Wick series has been one of the most successful and highly appreciated action series of the era.  However, director Chad Stahelski is going to rock with the amazing cast of John Wick: Chapter 5.

Briefing on John Wick Chapters 1,2,3,4

It is a sequel series. However, the first film of the series could have worked better. However, the viewers’ criticism and praise demanded that more series be produced.  The total collection of John Wick: Chapter 1 was $86 billion, while John Wick: Chapter 2 had a collection of double this amount.  The reason behind the success is superb storyline, action and filmmaking. This led the franchise to grow tremendously, and further films of the series, like John Wick: Chapter 3 and John Wick Chapter, were produced.  The collection was just $440 million across the world. 

John Wick 4 opens with John Wick, portrayed as Keanu Reeves, on the run by the High Table and its vast network of assassins after the events of John Wick Chapter – 3 Parabellum. It is a dangerous journey of navigating a treacherous landscape.  During this journey, he faces danger at every step. But he continues the navigation.

Keanu Reeves is the central character of Chapter 4. The movie has some action characters like Jason Bourne, John McClane and James Bond.

The cast of John Wick: Chapter 5- Characters need Expansion

The popularity of John Wick Chapter 4 makes it difficult to ignore, and it brings a definitive end to Keanu Reeves’ hero. This made people think about the 5th part of the series, as some questions still needed to be answered. But the final four episodes, along with the introduction of Reeves’ magnificent performance, set the stage for many upcoming films to discover a new world beyond the limit of Reeves’s character. 

In each movie, the audience is introduced to a new assassin who fights along with the hero, John Wick. Although many supporters inevitably die, there are some supporters whose future is clear. Some characters are still present in the John Wick world. The role of Common, represented by Cassian in Chapter 2,  is still incomplete.  Even Halle Berry’s role as Sophia in the Chapter 3 Parabellum or John series is yet to reach its end. These characters are not fully explored. They are just supporting John Wick, but their character is not shown properly.   

The latest entry in Chapter 4 of the John Wick series introduces many new killers that would be well suited for future entries in the series, like Shamir Anderso, portrayed as Tracker and Rina Sawayama, known as Akira.  

John Wick franchises are known to have their concept, power transfer and their deep mythology.  

The initial four parts of the John Wick series have some important characters like Ian McShane, who is portrayed as Winston, and Laurence Fishburne, who is portrayed as Bowery King.  The stories of these characters have remained unfinished.  There is a possibility of modification of these characters and storyline in a very interesting way in the upcoming series of John Wick. 

Guess about the plot of John Wick: Chapter 5

There can be a clear guess from different events made in John Wick’s chapter 3 parabellum that members of the high table will be searching for new elders. The continuation of John Wick’s Chapter 5 could be about exploring the power and leader. The members of the high table might need help to appoint a new elder leader. All the members are in search of another leader, an older adult, who will replace the former one who John Wick killed.

The new players in the John Wick 5 cast have made complete use of the beautiful settings. The action scenes made in the John Wick series are larger than the life action. The movie is all set to come, and the setting is complete, with a lot of actions taken by the cast. In Chapter 4 of the John Wick series, Rina Sawayama’s Akira is known for the rooftop fighting.  She used a bow and arrows to fight on the top of the roof at  Osaka with Katana.

Director Chad Stahelski has added the hectic traffic of Arc de Triomphe into many duelling locations in the film. 

Audiences are excited to watch more scenes of Ruska Roma, which was introduced in part 3 of the series. There are many plots where John Wick: Chapter 5 could take over the franchise. There are assumptions that John Wick 5 could take the audiences to Slavic Europe. There can be an introduction to the  Russian martial art Sambo, which is a blend of wrestling and kickboxing, in the fight choreography of the film.  You must have seen that Ruska Roma members were trained for wrestling during Chapter 3.

John Wick: Chapter 5 must go for the bigger Stunts scenes

The John Wick Series is one of the best action movies in Hollywood; still, it has something better in John Wick’s Chapter 5.  The director, Stahelski, has more to go. He must be trying some more gorgeous action scenes to attract the audience.

We have seen that in every series, the performance and action scenes improve.

Each entry of the film has pushed the level higher than the previous one, which means the director Stahelski has yet to find any limits and has yet to produce something more commendable.

There are a lot of areas where the action scenes and performance could be made better but are left untouched by the franchise. The franchise may consider adding scenes from other action movies by Keanu Reeves, like Point Break. There might be some addition of aerial stunts to the film. Imagine a fighting scene where John Wick is ready for a gunfight at a height of 3000 feet, and all of them are fighting hard to catch the only remaining parachute.   Such scenes can be interesting and will attract the audience. 

No doubt that surfboarding fight scenes will look silly in the team John Wick. However, the John Wick 5 cast must be given some new stunts and action scenes to perform. They can take some inspiration from Pont Breaker water stunts. Audiences have yet to see the underwater fighting scenes where John Wick is fighting despite a low oxygen capacity.  

The release of John Wick 5 is still a long way to go.

The release of John Wick 5 is yet to come. As of now, the executives of Lionsgate have confirmed that the project will be coming from their side. Considering that franchises typically take about two or three years to start production. Stahelski, the director, and Lionsgate must be planning a lot before starting the shoot of part 5. According to recent sources, John Wick 5 will most likely not be released until 2026. 

Before the release of John Wick Chapter 5, there could be a release of two other movies. The ballerina spin-off movie, which will be starring Ana de Armas, will be released in 2024.  Along with that, the original series of Peacock The Continental was set in the titular hotel of a New York branch during the 1950s.

Continental Show Failed to Connect

In addition to the development of John Wick: Chapter 5, the John Wick franchise is working on a new story without Keanu Reeves. The first of these is Continental (subtitled John Wick World), a three-part miniseries that will air exclusively on Peacock in 2023. The series is a prequel to the John Wick film series. The film revolves around the character Winston, played by Ian McShane.  The cast of John Wick Chapter 5 must be used properly to create different action scenes.  Set in the 1970s, the series follows young Winston (played by Colin Woodall) as he begins managing the Continental Hotel in New York City.

The idea of the Continental Empire is a constant because the existence of Continental Europe is an important part of the construction of the criminal world in the John Wick films and is one of the most important parts of the creation of the world. However, when ‘Continental’ was released last year, it did not attract as much attention as the ‘John Wick series. It came and went without any ostentation. Shortly after the show aired, NBC and Peacock promoted the show as one of the most popular television programs.
